Ive tried other plugs that are oem spec but not from VW and I like the way the oem plugs work better.

The easiest way to know if NGK plugs are real or fake is test them for resistance.
Pros: easy to test
Have them for 15,000 miles on these and frankly can't tell the difference from (spec. plug) with original that it replaced. Gas mileage is no better and no worse.

The plugs said "DO NOT GAP FACTORY SET" Every single plug in every box was the wrong and different gap and had to be redone. Some with the electrodes damn near touching.
