Nankang worked well for me
Owner reviews for tires
Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady. Best bang for buck, high quality, last between 45k and 60k miles depending on driving type.
Yes wildpeaks were highly recommended. I actually just bought cross climate 2s. Handle really well in rain so far.
I've put a couple hundred K's on mine and so far I love them. Great for street, gravel, dry dirt. The only issue I've had is the occasional wet mud on a trail. These get real squirmy in wet corners but I can't fault the tire, that's not what they're designed for.
I just put four new Bridgestone Ecopia’s on my 2016 LX and I’m noticing a smoother, softer ride. Not much quieter, as I detected a bit more road noise than my last set, but I think that’s because my old tires were so worn down.
I think the pirelli’s are great tires.
It's a very quiet all-season with a 70,000 mile estimated life expectancy according to Discount Tire.
Mid tier sport tires:
Westlake RS Sport,
Sailun Attrezzo R01,
Westlake DS1 sport
Upper tier sport tires:
Michelin PS4,
Advan AD08/AD09
I went with the Yoko Geolanders. They are quieter than the Michelins that they replaced, but my gas mileage has dropped like 5%.
Car is terrible with stock Falken tires. It goes OK, but stops terrible. I was actually suprised when I took mine out for the first time in the snow. Slide down the hill.
