Just in case any one is looking at four season tires look at the hakka NRW. Very similar to the hakka Q in tread design but a harder rubber.

I use Blizzak Mz-01's. Sure they're soft but that's what they're made for:snow & ice.
I'm coming off a set of Dunlop Sp5000s and the stock Michellins. Driving is all highly spirited street driving only, no AutoX. Plenty of heavy rain driving, some light snow use. Total Miles Michellin: 28k Dunlop: 23k Kumho: 20k (expected) Wet Traction Dunlops, superb .. wet Dunlops like dry Michellins. could drive at highway speeds in monsoon and car tracked perfectly straight. Amazing. Dry Traction Dunlops, hard to peel (very sticky). Can take corners significantly faster than with Michellins. On one of my favorite corners can take it at least 10mph faster (wide off-camber left sweeper going into a sharp off camber right S). Panic Stops Dunlops, hardly ever kicked on the ABS High Speed Maneouvers Dunlops, can do some wild ****te .. a little squeamish doing funny stuff at 120+ speeds. Overall much better than the Michellins Snow Dunlops get a big thumbs up. But, if you've got the extra scratch, go for the Dunlops.
I have Continental Viking Stop 4000 on 15\" steelies; Yup, there's studs in it
I drove last winter on the Michelin Arctic Alpins, including into ski areas, etc and they were just great.
I have had both the Michelin Pilot Alpins and Artic Alpins. I prefer the Pilot Alpins because they don't have the incessant whine and tread squirm. The Pilots seem almost as good in all winter conditions except shear ice (fewer sipes).
I currently have a set of the blizzaks (ws-50's) and am pretty happy with'em. They are a bit soft but they did rate the highest for snow traction.
Mine's not a 4mo but I've really enjoyed the Michelin Arctic Alpin - bought a set in 195/65/15 on stock steelies - they're ugly compared to the alloys but they got me through the worst (and I mean WORST) New Jersey has to offer.
I'll be putting on my Dunlop Winter Sport M2's in the next few weeks for the 3rd snow season and would echo INDIGO's points. I've been slightly disappointed on the snow performance as I've found quite a bit of understeer with these tires in snow.
im saorry to disagree, but you couldnt pay me to use p700z's again,i hate them,i had a pair and they never felt sticky enough, they do last a long time though,i think the only time they were any good(for me)was when i got them really warm,i didnt like them for autocross at all
