Continental Tires

Damn, those racekings have the best scores on bicycle rolling resistance tests.

I hope these remain the same, or marginally better (if possible)

Gp5000 is the goat.

Pros: best scores on tests

Continental Tires

I’m a full Conti convert after finally ditching Maxxis for Kryptotals. The grip is insane and they just feel overall higher quality.

Pros: insane grip, higher quality

BFGoodrich Tires
Livithan
Rating 5.0
  • Grip:
  • Ride comfort:

I am a huge fan of my BF Goodrich ko2. The rigid sidewall helps with the rear end sway and load stability and the higher PSI reduces temperature from the sidewall under load as well. They have been excellent on-road, off-road, and snow. The only thing I will say is that at higher pressure in the tire I feel everything on the road.

Pros: excellent on/off road, load stability
Cons: feel everything on road

Goodyear Tires

They are ok... Nothing special. For the money you can usually do a lot better... Goodyear is not the tire company it used to be.

Cons: nothing special, not worth money

Cooper Tires

Ran coopers for a lot of years. Then had a relatively new set on my Grand Prix say 10k miles. Went on a road trip in 800 miles had 3 bulge out to different degrees.

Pros: ran for a lot years
Cons: 3 bulge out
Mileage: 10000 km

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Based on the fact that my Bridgestone Alenza Sport tires are wearing out after only 9K miles, I would avoid Bridgestone like the plague.

Cons: wearing out after 9K
Mileage: 14484 km
