I’ve had a 2016 Touring 6-6 since new and overall it’s been pretty solid. I’ve had two brake calipers seize and parking brake seized as well. Otherwise no issues mechanically other than regular maintenance. 76,000km
Normally I still buy Honda parts and fluids with normally yearly servicing. in the last 14 years only expense has been both rear calipers needing changing due to seizing.
I had driven the first gen Axia for 5 years and I feel its stock brake is decent. Especially after I changed to Myvi lagi best (also stock), I felt Axia's has better stopping power, likely due to its lighter weight. Since then, I was looking for an upgrade for my Myvi. Upgrading to a bigger caliper should increase the braking power, even better if the disk is slotted. I considered this brand before but didn't go with it due to the price. I went with half-cut Honda Odessey/Civic 2-pot which costed only 1/3 and couldn't be happier. Not only it gives me more confidence when braking, also the are quite good-looking.
Painting the calipers on an S2000. The only long part of the job was supposed to be waiting for the paint to dry. Instead, we somehow missed the whole "left versus right" thing when reinstalling the calipers and spent the entire night trying to get the brakes bled.
I did make the move to the Accord V6 coupe calipers, and I'm really happy with this.
