Owner reviews for valve cover gasket
Valve cover gasket held up no problem. Made sure it was to spec when I eventually got a torque wrench.
Same thing happened to my 05 Impreza I changed valve cover gasket and it was all fixed
valve covers and front cam cover gaskets i did my self cost me 150 in parts and that lasted on original gaskets till about 170k miles as well.
From experience the only valve cover gasket I've used that doesn't leak is the OEM Mazda one, so I'd recommend one of those (worth the money!!)
Valve cover gasket was easy, plugs and coils were easy, water pump was shockingly easy. The single "failure" was when the serpentine belt self-destructed.
Smart to get the Mazda OEM valve cover gasket. It is much better quality than any of the aftermarket brands I've seen.
I just got my right and left valve cover gaskets changed on my 2017 Nissan titan v8 it came out to $40 parts $680 labor
Coolant systems, valve cover gaskets, flaky electronis, typical BMW stuff are the main issues, and it sounds like the valve cover gasket on that one needs replacing.
OCV gasket oil leaks on my 2014 Mazda6 SkyActiv valve cover.
