Air filter Mann or K&N
I've had mine for about 2+ years now, dropped a K&N air filter in it, uploaded a stage 3 tune from some dude he's in Florida somewhere also bought the K Tuner from him as well. This was after extensive YouTube research. My 2.0t is about .0134 seconds slower than a BMW M6 in the 1/4 mile. It's fast, very fast.
I'd just get some K&N air filter to get a bit more gas mileage and horsepower. This V8 is powerful already, in stock form.
I’ve had the K&N washable engine and cabin filters in the car for about 10-15k miles now. No issues so far.
I worked at advanced auto for a bit and got a K&N filter for a discount. Didn't get it for performance but it works fine and they are reusable so saving money in the long term I think.
I've got a K&N filter in my '22 Sport 2.0T. No issues at the dealer, never even brought up.
Get one from K&N and wash it every 6 months, lasts for many years
Very nice setup! I just installed the drop in K&N but too soon to see results. Although the placebo effect sure is nice at WOT but probably not as much as your CAI.
My intake parts showed up yesterday and today. Here they are installed: Under normal driving conditions you’d never notice it’s there. Not until you go WOT and get up above 3-3500rpm does the lovely VR gurgle kick in. Can’t tell a difference in power from the butt dyno but I also wasn’t going WOT on stock intake right before I swapped it. I may get skippy and run some data logs and see what the MAF is reading. I will also report back after some normal driving what the fuel consumption change is, if any.
I tried it on my 2016.5 and it did not like it at all. Lost power, less torque. I came back to the paper one after one day
I bought a K&N Air Filter for both cabin and engine
they wear out and got dirty/worn down too soon so I replaced them with Wix Filters
