I used euro car parts 444770127 which is a mid range bosch battery. Don't remember any issues

When i changed my battery in my Kia eSoul (same car, different brand) the only thing that happened was that the aux bat SOC said 255 for some time. Then car calibrated itself to the new battery and said the right value.
Bosch batteries in my older bmw lasted around 5 years but I was told it’s recommended to change every 2 years.
Change mine in my 2016 Golf R to this battery and it's been great. EFB shite didn't even last the first 3yrs.
when we bought our 2024 Kia Sportage hybrid, the salesman was showing us around it and got around to popping the hood, I did not see a 12 volt battery.
Another is that the OEM Kia battery just sucks…they fail. The fix is to get a new battery that doesn’t suck. Kia will replace the dead one within warranty but you’ll get another dodgy OEM battery. Most people seem to trend towards buying a good AGM aftermarket battery for this.
The mechanic I go to gives me Bosch and they last around 2 years if not more. But then they do die within a day when they do.
I switched to Bosch after that. that failed after 2.5 years, just under warranty. so it can happen with any company. some batches might have good quality some do not.
My experience: Stay away from Bosch.
