Battery Exide or Deka
OEM for Harley. I've replaced several with an average lifespan of 5 yrs at 20%+ cheaper than Harley branded
Pros: long lifespan, cheaper
As a harley tech I see more aftermarket batteries fail then I see oem ones fail. There are a few good aftermarkets like DEKA but for the most part aftermarket batteries seem to fail quicker then oem.

I have used exide battery+inverter for >10yrs and is still going good!
Pros: going good, long lasting
Amaron does last a whole lot longer than exide which just starts giving issues after warranty period. I had an issu in both my car and bike previously dues to exide. Switched to amaron once and did not give any issues till now.

Amaron all the way! I've always had to replace my exide batteries way before their actual expiry and their warranty claim is pathetic.

Both my Unicorn 160 and Access 125 have Exide. Zero issues.

Am schimbat eu baterie după 2 ani. Aveam o localizare gps consumator continuu și nu mișcam mașina zilnic. Atat i-a trebuit, și vorbim de Exide, nu de Rombat.

The Exide extreme duty is showing signs of age, it's entirely possible I'll limp it through the next 4 weeks or so and it will get to next winter. It is a 4 litre NA diesel so start demands are pretty high when cold and with the glow plugs.
It 4 years old well past it's warranty period but frankly I'm a little disappointed with it, mainly as the battery is well over and above what the vehicle specifies, it gets regular two hour highway runs (twice a week) and very few short trips.

Got exide for KTM, it gave up right after warranty, switched back to amaron. The first amaron battery lasted for 3 years without any hiccups.
