Battery OEM FORD or OEM Subaru
Had the OEM battery until 2021 before it died. I think six years in the NE is pretty decent for an OEM battery. 78k miles on the truck so far. No issues with the starter or the new battery since replacement.
Still going strong on OEM battery after 3yrs
I’m in the UAE, where summers hit around 50°C. This Forester is my first car with auto start-stop, and I’m impressed that the battery lasted a solid 4 years. With my driving habits (lots of short runs), my previous cars’ batteries would barely survive 1–1.5 years. This one lasted more than double that.
Still on vanilla battery. As part of my wife's start process is start car, press button to turn off auto off. Seems to be working.
Kakabili ko lang ng Everest, so far no problems minus that one time na itinirik ako ng wala pang 2 months of ownership kasi defective yung battery. Common issue siya that happens around 6 months - 1 year, kaya ina-advice na palitan agad yung stock battery sa fecp na group, pero ang OA ng 2. months. Granted, napalitan naman agad battery for free pero ang hassle parin.
The Ford battery in my Fiesta is as old as car so 10 years but despite still being able to start car it would only charge to 50% of capacity
Our ‘17 Outback went through 4 batteries in the 7 years we owned it.
I bought a brand new '24 Outback Wilderness in August of 2023 and had to replace the battery within 18 months.
I’m on my third battery in my 2018
My battery died on my ‘15 Outback within a year of my buying the car brand new off the lot. I noticed some issues with the lift gate and the car was having problems starting at times. It was a bad cell in the battery so it needed to be replaced.
