Battery OEM KIA or OEM Volkswagen
My Jetta is a 99 and I've replaced the battery once. The first lasted 6 years and the second is still going at almost 7 years. Unless I'm lucky factory batteries will last longer than store brand.
it was just over 115 for the battery at the dealer, install was easy, as soon as you get creative it could become more difficult. for the money its not a bad battery
i took the car in let him drain the battery and that was def dead. so we changed it and my car was beautiful, the lights didnt flicker at all.
I purchased a new oem battery today. The 12v 92ah AGM 850A EN/ SAE 520A. Hopefully this solves my current issue. I'll know a little better in the morning on my way to work. At least my key fob works from greater distances now.
clean battery post and wires reconnect them and ensure they aRe tight get the voltage tested for free at these automotive stores. 12v when not running, 14v when car is running.
OEM Volkswagen of America has the best battery for your Corrado. It's currently $110 and worth that ****. You look at the top of my battery, it says Manfacture Date December 2005. This thing has gone through hell and back. Everytime, it has cranked that starter with no issue.
i had my left side battery replaced about a year ago and i watched the shop (not a dealer) do it. the starter battery was not disconnected, the hardest part seemed to be lifting the battery out (fits tightley in there and isn't feather light).
Jack on my visit the battery was also replaced. Part# 000-915-105-CE. They also replaced two modules that were causing a drain on the battery.
Anyway, I bought a new battery and everything was fine for several months. Yesterday my car did not start again. I put a charger on the battery and it started this morning. However, this afternoon it would not start again. I charged it again and went and had the charging system and battery checked out (all good).
Currently I actually own a 2005 V8 and it has been just short of a nightmare to maintain. First was the battery($400) then the headlights($200) then the Thermostat($900), then the horn($80) then timing belt, water pump, stripped drain plug, etc all within a year.
