Personally, I have a fondness for Optima batteries, particularly the Yellow Top, in any vehicle where there are a lot of accessories to run, though I have a Red Top in my daily driver.
I don't know, but I just bought an Optima Red Top battery with a three year waranty sold at a store that has a store in every city.
I use optima. Highly recommend it too
Hrp: Optima. Best batteries out there. Have only had 2 since 2001! Red top, yellow and blue. Red should be sufficient unless you've got mega stereo. 800 watts.
I've been running a red top Optima for about four years now and no complaints.
I know some people love to shit on Optima but my yellow top is still kickin at 10 years old. Been run to the ground a couple of times over the years and the slow charger brings it right back.
I always liked Optimas, but I bought mine 2-4 years ago. I heard the quality has gone down but haven’t checked myself.
I killed two of those, never buying again.
I have definitely experienced said quality issues on multiple Optima batteries. They all lasted about a year for me.
Haven't been impressed with the quality of optima over the last 5ish years.
