Battery Panasonic or Energizer
So now I will only use Energizer and Sanyo/Panasonic Eneloop bateries I use these rechargable ones in more expensive devices as they do not leek but have had great success with energizer and their max alkaline bateries both stored and in devices and none have leaked.
I have a snap-on torque wrench and duracell keeps doing that, I switched over to energizer and it stopped.
Panasonic made batteries for Subaru years ago, black top and white case that you could just barely see through. Those bastards would run 7 or 8 years consistently before being replaced….
I’m on my 3rd 4Runner, they all came factory with the Panasonic battery. That damn thing wouldn’t quit till at least year 8.
It has been in there since 2016 and still works fine.
I've noticed the 20xx Energizer series seem to be made in Japan. Refreshing since they don't stink like the Ikea MIC ones.
Panasonic Eneloops for me all the way. Bit of an initial investment, but they work so well they're all I buy now for anything that needs batteries. They even kept my Pix running for almost 10 days!
I tried my spare key, and the first time I used it, I got a weak battery warning. I never had that warning on the key I regularly use. I replaced both batteries, and still had the problem.
Just had to replaced my battery in my 2022 Mazda 3. I’ve always heard people say the batteries are crap in these cars. There’s no way you should be replacing a OEM battery yet. They use some crap Panasonic battery.
It's not only Energizer, its also whatever cheap brand I have. Might be a law, I think.
I do hate them, either cutting your fingers or have the cell fly out like a chemical saucer.
