Battery Panasonic or SAMSUNG
I’m on my 3rd 4Runner, they all came factory with the Panasonic battery. That damn thing wouldn’t quit till at least year 8.
Note the XC5.0 still holds up very well here even with smaller 18650 or so cells.
Panasonic Eneloops for me all the way. Bit of an initial investment, but they work so well they're all I buy now for anything that needs batteries. They even kept my Pix running for almost 10 days!
We had a 2016 lexus with original Panasonic battery. in 2022 had to be replaced, thats 6years. In Arizona batteries last about 2 years. so that was nice.
I have the S8+ and haven't had any significant battery issues at all. I've even enabled that setting to prolong battery health by having the maximum battery percentage by 85%.
Mine gets around 4-5 hours of SOT. I do wish the SOT was better. The screen is dim so I have to up it to about 40% screen brightness which is a bummer because my previous tab s7+ was bright enough around 30%. I am satisfied with it but it doesn't meet expectations or the "ultra" name.
I noticed too, i mean, it's worse but it's not that bad, with the tab s6 I could do from 9 to 10 hours sot, sometimes even 12.
With the tab s7+ I can do 8-9 hours sot, so not that bad
Galaxy tab s9 has a very bad battery, confirming here
I just bought a Tab A8 to replace my 6 year old Tab A6 and I am sad that the battery life is worse than the A6.
I used the tablet at night in bed for about 90 minutes to read news and I get 5 or 6 days use before needing a charge. The A8 lasts 2 days.
I have the same tablet and I can confirm that the battery life is quite bad. I am flabergasted how any who has done a 'review' on it managed to get almost 10 hours of battery.
I did a few battery rundown test with lowest and maximum brightness and I could not get more than 3-4 hours at best watching YouTube videos.
