Varta B33 Location: Right Trunk under Taillight
Thx everyone, in the end I found a Varta B23 on discount, which is slightly bigger and slightly stronger (45AH) and fits.
I typically use what is shipped with the packaging. Most of my red dots are trijicon and they ship with energizer so I will continue to use it. I feel the companies do their own testing trail and error with battery life and usage at all power levels under all temperatures.
Energizer. Better QC than Duracell imho.
Duracell lasted 18 months on my RMR 3.25 Type 2 on auto setting, Energizer lasted 23 months on same setting!
Having ran both Duracell procell, and Energizer lithiums in RMR's, the energizers last 3+ years. I've gotten 2-2.5 years out of Duracell.
I’d go for Vatra. Massively popular in Finland where it often gets lower than -30 in winters. I had mine on an F10 and the car was stationary for 2 weeks with average temp of around -15 degrees. Zero problem
The factory battery is rubbish though. So get a better branded battery - varta or Bosch are good.
I have the same problem! Overcharging - 14,9V. Had AGM Varta, I put new Acid Varta and recoded to Lead Acid battery. But there is no difference - charges 14,9V, I think, this is too much!
Am luat una noua, Varta. Firma, calitate ????. Am luat-o acum 2 ani, start-stop a mers fix 3-4 luni, si acum, mai ales cand e frig, se chinuie.
