Brake caliper Brembo or POWER STOP
Z33 Track Pack 324x30 front rotors + CTS-V 4pot Brembos and adapters. Z33 Track Pack 322x22 rear rotors + Z33 2pot Brembos modified to fit S13 knuckles.
I had a friend with those 11” rears on his mk3. Nice upgrade when paired with his 312 Brembo boxsters.
I've been running the brembos with ss lines, wildwood MC, stoptech rotors, hawk pads and dot 4 for years. And I run hard. 0 issues.
Very common issue with Brembo calipers across brands. Basically, the galvanized bolt loses its coating and here you are.
They've been on the car for 2 years and ~ 30 track hours without issue.
I’ve beat the shit outta my z36 ones and they’ve held up great.
I installed the full power stop kit, drilled and slotted with the extreme pads and red powder coated calipers. All work very well and still look good after 13k miles or so.
The callipers flex and the point which hits is not where you grind...but further outward...it'll be obvious how they flex when you look. I use my brakes VERY hard with some pretty trick pads...so you may not have the same problem...but mine have grooved the inside of two sets of front wheels.
Had full set of power stop on mine. But one rear caliper got half frozen and chewed up the caliper so I went back to stock on the rears.
I have them on our vdub touareg and have had to rebuild them twice due to pistons seizing.
