Brake discs DBA or OEM BMW
I'm running the DBA Street Series T2 slotted rotors and EBC Yellow pads with steel braided lines on my STI Brembo's. Works great for me on track, touge and street. They do squeal during the break-in period fyi.
I went with DBA T3 4000 rotors and DFC5000 advanced pads.
I just ordered pads, rotors and sensors for my 16 M235i. Cost out the door was $1000 for BMW OEM parts. Rotors are each unless it's bought in a kit. ($177 each) Rotors are likely smaller on the rear wheels.
I've installed drilled and slotted rotors on my pickup, BMW X5, and just ordered a set for my BMW Z3. I live in the mountains, drive spirited, and definitely have improved braking performance with them. Make sure you bed the pads in correctly.
Running DBA 4000 SX rotors f/r on my '05. Stock calipers.
I've recently installed the DBA Street Series - T2 Slotted. Very happy with them so far, early days, but DBA does have a good rep. Priced well too.
i bought used 2011 528i RWD N52 engine with 120k km 5 years ago.
currently sitting at 179k km.
brake discs/pads/fluid
I have DBA t2 Rotors with their street ceramic pads. Great for street and does well in curvy canyons. I like them a lot, even coming from Stoptech slotted with sport pads. way less brake dust with ceramic pads.
have drilled and slotted rotors for it with pads not installed, only problems are it needs the new brakes installed the current ones are warped
the 325 rotors are tiny and have pitiful heat capacity
