Brake discs Zimmermann or Bosch
E36 non M3 brakes up front is probably your easiest and cheapest way to go, dirt cheap and readily available everywhere, the 286mm rotors and calipers leave just enough room for 15inch wheels and they are provide plenty of power and heat disappation for a street E30.
Bosh quietcast never gave me any issue for my HRV.
FCP Euro Zimmer + Akebono kit replace if you want less dust and prefer more linear (ceramic) braking.
Cheap ones used in a lot of shop lately for both rotors and pads are Bosch, and they hold up pretty well. I put a full set on my Suburban a couple years ago and have no complaints.
Zimmerman rotors are a good replacement for oem. Get your choice of pads. I like oem style so something like Textar or Pagid are good choices.
All Zimmerman rotors 2 w/ brake pads aswell
Again aftermarket will might be around $100 each for Bosch.
I just changed my rotors and pads myself on my 23 mazda 3, cost me $224 for 4 Bosch rotors and all new Bosch pads.
This time I bought some coated Bosch rotors and I look forward to seeing how they look in the spring.
Why after changing pads, greasing pins, new rotors, my brakes are still squeaking going through town and down the highway? The right side was noticeably more worn when I started the job, and that’s the one that’s squeaking. I put the new chrome inserts in the bracket too. OEM ac Delco pads and new Bosch quiet cast rotors. Used c clamp to push pistons back in. 2016 Yukon Denali
