Brake pads Brembo or Mintex
You've been quoted £1150 FOR A BRAKE JOB?! To put it into perspective, you can get fairly high end pads and discs (Brembo and the likes) for around £4-500 if you look around, and the job takes 2 hours tops.
Yea I think they’re 80 on the brembo sight.
I used brembo brakes for mine, which I do like. I did also use raybestos element 3 rotors and pads which I also did like.
Ordered brembo brakes (fronts and rears 4 pots) from the same gen Camaro for my VE SSV from Amazon in the US and got it shipped to AUS. Later on found genuine Camaro wheels in SA that I bought for the Commy. Looked the tits and car really pulled up hard. Great upgrade.
Naka brembo ata yan eh ahhaha
Brembo sintered for 2k \ud83e\udd2f
I put on some Brembo ceramic pads on the rears and it felt a tad softer braking.
I had Brembo rotors and ceramic pads front and rear on my 2017 V60 T5. Rotors were fine, the pads wore out ridiculously fast. Switched to Akebono pads and was much happier. They lasted literally twice as long.
Brembos are street pads, they are designed to be low noise and low dust. They’re not for any sort of aggressive driving.
My brakes are overheating when I break the car from around 190kph (118mph) to around 30kph (19mph), I smell the brakes burning and see a lot of brake dust on the wheel. Even the brakes feel a bit spongy for a while after, but it firms back up.
