Others like EBC have specific procedures for heating and cooling the brakes to make them to the surface.

DBA pads and slotted rotors From knsbrakes.com. Came in at $1,080 delivered last year. Completely eliminated the shudder with the stock brake pads and the slotted rotors look awesome.

I ran the EBC BlueStuff NDX. They are a great track pad but also didn’t feel like a track pad when driving on the street. They have decent cold bite and we’re very quiet for me.
I replaced my Mk6 stock pads with EBC RedStuff and love them (better feel under hard braking and practically no dust).
I've used them on track in NASA HPDE3 group. They are pretty much equivalent to the Hawk HP+, for a lighter weight car they are fine for track days but for a heavy car you will need a more race oriented pad.
If you’re going to run lap after lap they don’t hold up.
