Fresh front brakes, Zimmerman blanks with EBC Bluestuff, hopefully these do better than the yellows. Pedal feel with the Endless fluid was consistent as well.

Pros: pedal feel consistent

I ran EBC Redstuff on my 09 R56 and they were great. Very nice sporty braking but it wasn't overly aggressive and the noise and dust was pretty low. Made for a great daily driver with better than stock braking.

Pros: sporty braking, low noise
Cons: low dust
Vehicle: MINI

EBC Brake pads

I run yellow stuffs on my F55 S. It’s a daily but I also canyon carve. Compared to OEM, I’m extremely happy with the performance and brake feel.

Pros: good performance, great feel

STOPTECH Brake pads

I’ve tried nearly every pad on the list here and for a dual duty casual track and street car without needing the change pads I have found the stoptech sport and carbotech ax6 good if you don’t want to swap pads which is better for a first timer in my opinion. Otherwise ferodo ds2500 and the other ones in this thread are good if you get more experienced given time. The carbotech ax6 I am selling a set if interested brand new in box but they are expensive as are many suggestions on this list. The nice things about the stoptech is they are a true do all pad that is cheap as well!

Pros: dual duty, cheap
Cons: expensive

If you are looking for high performance, I can vouch for EBC Yellowstuff and Bluestuff NDX. Yellowstuff is a good high performance street pad. no noise even in cold including down to -29 deg C. There is some squeal if the car has sat in the rain the first time you touch the brake pedal but its quiet after. the pads have really strong bite and sustain heat fairly well but wear down rather quickly if you are doing track days. mine lasted 20,000 kms including 6 track days and 4 autoX events. under road driving conditions only, they last much longer. If you want something to last longer and be better suited for track but still be streetable, Bluestuff NDX will do that. they have similar bite to Yellowstuff but sustain higher temperatures and last longer.

Pros: strong bite, good heat sustain
Cons: wears quickly, some squeal when wet
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 20000 km

I like EBC greenstuff. No louder than stock, good cold bite, and a little better heat resistance. Good for autocross and street, but they won't hold up on the track. And they don't produce a huge amount of dust, though it is more than oem.

Pros: good cold bite, heat resistance
Cons: won't hold up on track

For mixed street and track use, I haven’t found a better pad than Stoptech 309. Lots of dust, but no noise on the street and they will take an absolute beating on track (for a street pad). Great modulation at mid temps, low and high temps are acceptable.

Pros: great modulation, acceptable temps
Cons: lots of dust

EBC Reds. I would check the rotors though, because if your pads are thin there’s a very good chance the rotors will need replacing too. In which case you may as well go Zimmerman rotors and EBC reds.

Pros: EBC Reds
Cons: rotors may need replacing

I upgraded to the yellows from stock pads and they held up fine but they were getting hot and I could smell them in my first session.
