Brake pads Ferodo or Bendix
Stock calipers with ferodo ds11.1 pads
I put Bendix pads and rotors frt n back on mine a year ago.
Doing a good job, we tow and load up with firewood alot.
Nice even wear on everything. Smooth stops.
I paid 800 all in for tarox front and rear dics and ferodo pads on my f10 535d and fitted it myself in a day..
I run DS3.12 now and ran DS1.11 on my previous car on track and love them (better then PFC-08)
My stock OEM pads are Ferodo DS2500 and I love them for daily and light track days.
Personally, I’m a fan of Ferodo, but I typically need to get them from the UK.
The AP Racing kit was installed with a set of Ferodo DS2500s in the front and stock OEM pads installed fresh in the rear.
I did tons of research and settled on Ferodo DS3.12 (FCP4425G) in front and DS1.11 (FCP4697W) rear with Castrol SRF fluid. Stock R calipers and rotors have held up as well as any aftermarkets I read about for MUCH less $. Zero issues, and cheap.
I have Ferodo DS2500 pads on my 987 Cayman. They are a good pad for street/track duty and it seems they come recommended on the forums. Just remember a dual purpose pads are okay for street and track, but not great in either.
Matigas Bendix. Used it on my tucson. Nahihirapan mag brake.
