For Shimano Ultegra/Dura Ace
I threw a set of Galfer pads in mine and have been happy.
I run HH Sintered Galfer pads which make a big difference off road.
For years I ran Pagid Black on the fronts and Pagid Yellow on the rear.
My personal compromise on the GT4RS is Pagid RSL29 front and rear.
Pagid yellow for me.
I just installed Galfer HH sintered pads and they’ve been solid so far. Definitely an improvement from stock but they were getting pretty worn down
be mindful with those pagid pads. they’ve been making noise on a lot of cars we’ve put them on recently. massive chucks of metals in them. still stop great but may make some noise
You will need brake cooling/ducts or will need to remove the dust shield to get more airflow (or both), went through a brand new set of rear Pagid RS29 endurance pads in less than a weekend in July when I first got the first F80 years ago. The heat did a number on them in the afternoons with ambient temps over 90 and all the 150ish to 40ish and 130ish to 30ish on the back and front straights respectively
Go with the Galfer synthetic and that too will be burnt under 4k km, I have changed twice already in 10k.
