Brake pads Mintex or WILWOOD
I do like the wilwoods on my car, stops good, lots of choice in brake pads.
Pros: stops good, pad choice
i had them on my mk3 jetta and there was a huge stopping difference without locking them up. a very good investment , initially they came with hawk pads they were too noisy and i switched to ebc pads and i loved the brakes quiet and stopping distance was probably reduced by 1/3

Mintex C-Tech
I had Mintex on my car since i did my G60 swap and they havent shrunk one bit. Ad im a hard driver. Almost 2 years and they still look new
Pros: durable, still look new
i've had mintex redbox and pagid street compound (blacks) on mine so far. i would suggest mintex pads since they are more dustfree and aren't so bad for the rotors. alot of people on clubb5.com have gone with them and are happy.

So at 16K I had my rotors turned and Mintex pads put in.
Mileage: 16000 km
I replaced the rears with Mintex pads and still I get more dust on the rear wheels, but not as much as the VW stock pads.
Pros: less dust than stock
Cons: more dust on wheels
I have Mintex Reds right now. Don't really care for them.
