Brake pads OEM BMW or JURID
New Jurid front brake pads and a new front brake pad wear sensor April 2025.
It has new brakes, oil pan gasket, VCG, new radiator, hoses, fan, fan clutch, water pump and a few other things I’m forgetting.
I always bought BMW genuine brake pads and rotors, and never had an issue. They work great.
I’ve had these Jurid pads on my 2019 S for about four months now and they’ve been great so far.
For pads I've used Jurid White successfully in the past, they produce a lot less dust than the OE.
I just shopped around for the brake pads for my 2 series, got the front ones done for £150. It was a trusted garage and they inspected the large m sport discs and said there was life for another set of pads on them after this new set. I’m also quite a light braker, so discs and pads tend to last me a long time.
Pads I went with Jurid as they’re oem and wanted strong initial bite. The Jurids nock when I reverse, apply brake, shift to drive and apply again. It’s very annoying. My original BMW OEM pads didn’t do this.
OEM BMW Performance. Can’t recommend the brake pads though, dusty as hell. I had Hawk HPS5.0 pads before, those performed better than the OE pads with the added bonus of being very low dust.
As someone else mentioned, the rear brakes are tiny and even running Pagid RS29 race pads, the rears were 3mm more worn than the front after just one track day.
