I purchased Durango rotors and Wagner brakes for my 2015 cx5 back in May 2018. According to my buddy my brakes were only 50%/35%(front/back/) done. I told him to change it anyways since he pulled them apart anyways. That was around 105k. Around Jan 2020, the rear brakes were squeaking. My buddy pulled them apart, and the rear brakes were completely done. The odometer was around 190k . I replaced them with centric rotors and power stop pads. The front was not changed as it looks like 70 left.

Pros: long brake life, good performance
Cons: rear brakes squeaking
Vehicle: Mazda 5
Mileage: 190000 km

I’ve honestly never had a problem with Wagner. Just installed QuickStops on my wife’s Altima. They are quiet, and they bite just as hard as OEMs.

Pros: quiet, good bite

When I did my Civic, I went with Wagner Thermoquiets. But I'm not aggressive on the brakes. They're silent, and clean. They'll still cause ABS to engage if I hit the pedal hard.

Pros: silent, clean
Cons: ABS engagement under hard braking
Vehicle: Honda Civic

I now use the Wagner pads the I can get through Advance. Last set went 60K and I just replaced them before the state inspection in October. Technically they would have passed but I just changed them out just so I didn't have to worry about it for a while. For $60 for an axle set, I can't complain. Cost way less, last much longer, easy on the rotors and don't dust the hell out of the wheels. They take a bit more brake pedal pressure but that is OK because it actually helps on brake modulation.

Pros: Cost way less, last longer
Cons: more brake pedal pressure
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 96560 km

According to Rockauto, Wagner ThermoQuiet parts are available for that car. I would just get those - I've used them on everything I've owned for the past 10 years or so with good results.

Pros: good results, used for years

I had an 2017 Outback 2.5, had it since April of 2017 until last week, during that time I put on 93k km on it. I wish I had gotten the 3.6, I got the 2.5 hoping to save fuel, my average was around 25mpg for lifetime, and I drive a lot on hwy and country road, I never once was able to hit the 30mpg even if it's just me in the car and driving 50mph on the country road, this part I really feel like Subaru should correct their mpg reading, in winter it can get as bad as 18mpg in the freezing weather, as when it's cold the transmission will make the engine constantly rev at higher to warm it up, the 2.5 is also not a smooth engine when at idle, I had a vibration issue that was deemed normal. Overall, it's a reliable car, but its not a durable car, another thing is, when taking off quickly from a stop, it can really bog down, most people are used to first gear and just boot, but these CVT don't have first gear and it can be rather unexpected, I've almost got hit from behind a couple times from that. The eyesight is a good feature, the lane departure can be annoying at times but I was ok with it, these cars have an issue with windshield chipping, and if the car has eyesight, the windshield need to be a specific one and then the eyesight needs to be re-calibrated, this happened to me TWICE, and it got expensive very quick. OEM tires are lousy, by lousy I mean it doesn't even get good mpg, doesn't get good grip in ANY condition and puncture easily if you take it to any sort of gravel road, I had puncture the tire within 1200km, I just got some decent A/T tires after, no problem for the last 90k. The brakes are soft, so first thing I did was changed the pads.

Pros: reliable car, eyesight is good
Cons: windshield chipping, brakes are soft
Mileage: 93000 km

WAGNER Brake pads

I haven't had much luck with durability on Wagner brake pads on any of my cars, though I've not used these on the Passat.

Cons: poor durability
