I ran R1 concepts for my tc2 for over four years. An improvement over stock’s brake fading prone design. Not badly priced too

I just installed Galfer HH sintered pads and they’ve been solid so far. Definitely an improvement from stock but they were getting pretty worn down

I've had really good luck after swapping to R1 Concepts pads and rotors on my Taos. no brake dust and predictable stopping.

I just switched to R1 concepts Geomet pads, and drilled and slotted rotors. They're just as good as OEM from what I can tell.
Pros: as good as OEM
R1 concepts were an upgrade on my 2nd gen and got me through 4 years of abuse because the OEM ones would brake fade terribly. On my Camry they only lasted a year.
Pros: 4 years of abuse, no brake fade
Cons: only lasted a year on Camry
R1 Concepts Track Pads. I used them for my daily and occasional track. I am too lazy to swap the pads. Hella dusty tho.

Pros: they fit perfectly, offer great performance and are cool enough to work on immediately after driving. Con: they sent the brakes for the electric parking brake when I have the cable parking brake. They have been 0 help in providing the bracket to adapt it to the cable break.
Pros: perfect fit, great performance
Cons: wrong brake type sent
Go with the Galfer synthetic and that too will be burnt under 4k km, I have changed twice already in 10k.
Cons: burns under 4k km
Mileage: 10000 km
After two years or so I get horrible squealing when I stop in reverse. Rusting is pretty bad too.
