I've had really good luck after swapping to R1 Concepts pads and rotors on my Taos. no brake dust and predictable stopping.

I just switched to R1 concepts Geomet pads, and drilled and slotted rotors. They're just as good as OEM from what I can tell.
Pros: as good as OEM
R1 concepts were an upgrade on my 2nd gen and got me through 4 years of abuse because the OEM ones would brake fade terribly. On my Camry they only lasted a year.
Pros: 4 years of abuse, no brake fade
Cons: only lasted a year on Camry
I put a set of r1 concepts pads and rotors on my wrx that I daily got them off Amazon for like $250 and came in like 2 days had them on for around 7500 miles and haven't had any issues.
Pros: no issues, fast shipping

Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG. Nothing particularly bad but having a German for it's age, essentially a supercar, and close to 200,000km when I sold it, quite a few bits and pieces needed replacing. Mechanically the best car I ever owned though. Just hoses, sensors, bushes, brake disc's and pads that kind of thing.

I slapped in some r1 concepts pads and rotors on both of my Subarus after the oem ones kept warping.

R1 Concepts Track Pads. I used them for my daily and occasional track. I am too lazy to swap the pads. Hella dusty tho.
Pros: suitable for daily, track

I originally had r1 concepts rotors and pads but the pads started to squeak like crazy at slow speeds. Rotors were still good so I put on akebono pads and they are perfect.
Pros: they are perfect
Cons: pads started to squeak
MB advisor here, GLC brakes are horrible with noise.
Cons: noisy brakes
