Cabin filter Tesla or Wix
I’ve used Wix cabin filters for every vehicle we’ve had for years. Zero problems.
Pros: zero problems, reliable
I changed cabin air filter on my Model S few weeks ago after 70k km and to my surprise it was clean like it was there for only a month.
Pros: very clean after 70k km
Mileage: 70000 km
The cabin air filter is a multi-layer one that filters everything (dust, pollen, mold, odors) which can reduce air flow, but I really doubt anyone is struggling with air flow given how much air the blower moves on this vehicle.

Just tires, wiper blades and cabin filters, it's insane.
Pros: replaced cabin filters
RockAuto even as a Canadian. 2025 Crosstrek cabin filters are $62 at the dealership. NAPA sells WIX filters for $40. RockAuto sells them for $13 CAD. Only issue is having to order a fair amount of stuff to offset shipping. But worth it.

Don’t get the ones with the carbon in them, buy OEM. The reason is these restrict air flow which is harder on your AC system and testing shows they do a worse job of filtration as well.

I had these and they created mold also. The oem filters without the "active charcoal" are much better than these and they are cured against mold.
