Engine oil AMSOIL or OEM Audi
I got better results from signature 5w30 at 11,200 mi than I did from Motorcraft “full synthetic(lies) at 4300mi. So I change my amsoil at 8-10k and my Pennzoil ultra platinum at 7500.
I like amsoil 5w-30 and do a liquimoly engine flush with every oil change.
On a new car, I change at 750, then again at 3000, and after that I do my regular once per year or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first, as stated on Amsoil Signature. I've been using this oil for decades in cars, trucks, and tractors. It's incredibly good oil.
I do 3k with Amsoil SS as well. Blackstone analyses of TBN show I could easily do 5,000k.
5000 miles with a quality full synthetic will serve you well for the life of your vehicle.
Maintenance, that’s what I’m focusing on rn so far ive done oil and coolant, went with amsoil and Nissan blue
I have an 2007 A4 2.0T base. I bought the car with 120k miles on it in 02/19. Yesterday I hit the 224k miles on it. She's my daily driver, over the years I have changed/did the engine oil every 4k miles, car filters all over, wheel alignment, tires, brake pads, rotors, and the battery. Nock on the wood, my baby have been taking car of me. I'm actually surprised that this model is solid af.
I used AMSOIL signature, and do yearly oil changes.
I have a C7 3.0T A6. I put about 2 quarts of oil in it in between oil changes depending on how hard i drive. I don't have a check engine light. The engine doesn't knock, it runs fine.
2015 Audi A3, new to me a year ago. One quart every 400 miles. First car I've ever owned that consumed this much oil. It's a nightmare!
