The closest I found was Castrol? Long life 507 which was £40 for 5L from Amazon, but I had to buy the stuff direct from VW as was pushed for time for my oil change (with a friend).
Although even if my Manufacturer recommends 10w30, I'll still go for that Castrol Power1Ultimate 10w40. It's such a Buttery Smooth Oil.. that's the best gift you can ever give to your >200cc motorcycle.
Castrol LL01 5w30 is $25 for 5 quarts at Walmart. Will work for your car
I've been running Castrol GTX High Mileage in my Honda for over 140,000 miles. It has 262,000 miles on it now, and I have always done 10,000 mile oil changes over the 235,000 miles I've put on it.

Castrol 5w30/ 0w30 German Castrol never leaked oil.
I personally have used the RN17FE 0W-20 (Renault branded Castrol GTX bottles) for 10k km after the innitial oil that was filled in the factory (I don’t know which one was filled in factory). I haven’t noticed any better fuel economy but that can be tough to determine because I drove the car mainly through the winter and did more shorter trips than the original factory first fill oil that I drove with during spring and summer.
Avoid. Tried it, it burnt off very quickly. Back to Castrol with my tail between my legs.
