I'm a Castrol syntec guy and I like Kirkland oil. So that's what my cars get.
I'm personally running Castrol in the BMW bottle.

I have stuck with manufacturers till manufacturers recommendation is causing issue, like my gixxer leaked entire oil from companies estar engine oil, switched to castrol power 1, no leak, headache gone and happy riding on it for about a decade now.

Hi, I have a MK6 2.5L Golf that I changed the oil in at 78,510 miles (126,350km) and is currently at 81,260 miles (130,775.3km) only 2,750 miles (4425.7km) later. I happened to catch a ticking so I checked the oil and the dip-stick/oil pan was bone dry.
