Buy filters in bulk from RockAuto. Buy oil Castrol Euro Car from Walmart when it’s in sale.
I use Pennzoil platinum euro because its dirt cheap from walmart and meets all specs. 135,xxx kms so far on the same oil.
Castrol. Bought twice from Amazon. Four litres for £19 the first time, £25 the second. Much cheaper than Halfords.
Normally Castrol racing 10w40, it's not expensive and not needed that often
Cu Castrol Edge 10w40 am avut rezultate bune la TDI-ul euro 3 (ALH). Am inceput sa il folosesc (in varianta 5w30) si la TDCI euro 5 si sunt in continuare foarte multumit. Am avut surprize cu Aral (asta e recomandarea producatorului, dar e ceva poșirca nici macar full-sintetica) si cu un Ravenol mai de soi la ALH, a mancat ulei. Cand am revenit la Castrol nu a mai mancat.
Best bang for your buck is the ultra premium penzoil 0w 20. Meets the api certification and in terms of performance it essentially provides the same level of performance as the amsoil.
I run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30. My FK8 is making over 500hp no issues
I shit you not, castrol magnetic oil really helps save a bit petrol.
I'm at 308k miles and use cheap Castrol engine oil, house brand transmission fluid (the correct kind though), and the cheapest coolant I can find.
I recently changed the oil in a diesel Passat (150,000 kms) which had Castrol Edge put in 12,000 kms ago during the last service by a VW dealer. I have changed many oils in VW diesels and found the Castrol oil that came out to be the dirtiest, sticky, staining and sort of gritty oil ever.
