Although even if my Manufacturer recommends 10w30, I'll still go for that Castrol Power1Ultimate 10w40. It's such a Buttery Smooth Oil.. that's the best gift you can ever give to your >200cc motorcycle.

I've been running Castrol GTX High Mileage in my Honda for over 140,000 miles. It has 262,000 miles on it now, and I have always done 10,000 mile oil changes over the 235,000 miles I've put on it.

I changed from Petronas Synthium 3000 to this and I can assure there was obv improvement in smoothness especially when going above 110km/h.
Castrol makes a Edge Euro 5w-30 and 5w-40 that is LL-01 and ACEA A3/B4, it's not going to meet the later LL requirements because it's higher viscosity and not as fuel conserving, also not low SAPS so potentially it could contribute to more intake valve buildup

Nearly 3000miles later engine rattled. On stripdown found shell on crankshaft had welded to crankshaft. Eng report it was shell slippage.
