I used to have a B8 and kept my oil level OK as per the MMI and only used Liqui Moly oil.
Liqui moly 4210 pricy but dropped my temps 10 degrees 0w30 vw 504 rated..
I always run liqui moly 5w40. It's just thin. Change it every 5k miles.
I had been using Penzoil Euro L as well and have switched to Liqui Moly. I don't get my oil from FCP but will say Liqui Moly seems to be a very good oil.
After NGP Racing rebuilt my engine in 2015, I found out about LiquiMoly. Read up on it and sticking with L.M.
im still on liqui moly 10w60 gt1
I'm a fan of Liqui molly GT1.
Liqui Moly oil is the gold standard that alot of Audi guys use.
I use Idemitsu Wankel Racing Oil. 10w30, I think.
US manual states 507 can be used, but you might get worse fuel economy... Mine is about 0.3 mpg lower on liquimoly toptec 4200 5w-3p
