Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or OEM Mazda
Used LiquiMoly 0w-20 at 5k and will continue to do it every other oil change.
I would just go with liqui moly leichtlauf high tech 5w40. A little expensive but well worth it. One of the the best out there and as long as you do the oil change yourself you are good to go.
I use liquimoly on my ‘15 Mk7. It’s one of the most recommended on the forums. Haven’t had any issues.
I have used the green stuff for my last 3 oil changes, not looking for leaks but at the same time will be easier to spot if something does decide to pop up.
I bought a Mazda CX-5 dealer test car with 300 Km's on it back in 2015 when I moved up to Osaka. I drive a LOT and was getting the oil changed roughly every 5000 km's per Mazda's recommendation.
i'll keep using the blue jugs....i love this stuff
I used to use Mobil 1 (European formula) and was a good oil as well but when I switched to liqui moly the engine in that gti was running so much smoother so that’s why I only used liqui moly in my R as well
5W-40 is better for the M54, IMO - try Fuchs Titan SuperSyn or Liqui Moly Leichtlauf.
5w 40 liqui moly
Liqui moly 5w40. At 252k on my 2006 e90 n52
