Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or VALVOLINE
I've run LiquiMoly 5W-30 with the correct BMW engine ratings for over a decade now. Regular changes every 5k miles or 12 months and runs smooth as butter.
I have been using various Valvoline synthetic oils 10+ years in multiple stationary engines, tractors, diesel and petrol engines. No sludge, no varnish inside the engines, and never worn an engine out.
I use Valvoline restore and protect. It fixed the tick after a few oil changes
Every 5,000-6,500 km oil change using **VW.508** oil (NO 10,000 km oil changes)... Oil like Liqui Moly **Top Tec 6200 0W-20**
5W30 Valvoline Restore and Protect is good
I have a plug for Liquimoly so I run that year round.
I'm running 0w30 from liquid molly and im tuned on e85. I live in Boston so cold 20f mornings ???? I have the red sport with the oil cooler and the f$cking oil just won't get hot enough and stays at 165 to 170 and good enough to do pulls but not up to temp so 0w30 protects more in cold starts and it's not hot enough to cook so perfect. I do switch to 5w30 in summer.
Valvoline Restore & Protect is reportedly great.
So recently I’ve noticed that on startup I get a little white smoke that dies down after warming up to about 170 oil temp I noticed this after I changed the oil I used the same green liquimoly oil my gti has been stage 2 tuned for abt 5k miles now, stock is20 and it’s a mk7 tuned it at 100k miles I’m thinking pcv. my peak boost has gone down one psi and I remember it used to hold 28.5 right before I up shifted now it’s only 26.5
La 7-8000km ce am scos din motor se chema apa colorata, nu ulei. La rece se auzeau tachetii. Nemultumit.
