I used ELF Excellium NF 5W40.
The car itself is outstanding for the price, excellent quality build in my opinion. However the FSI engine has given a few of us some headaches. Mine performs great, except for burning excessive oil.
I've moved up to Mobil 1 5W-50 from Syntec 5W-40. So far I really like it. No noise on startup at all with it. I also use the monster oil filter.
I run Mobil-1 0-40 in the winter to 4 or 5k miles, in the hard driving months I use their 5-40, and change it once or twice a month.
I use Mobil 1 0W40, and have been going 4000 miles between oil changes.
just use Mobil1 0w40 or Castrol 5w40...both can be found at autozone and are 502 approved
Now i can notice a smoother iddle and the car seems to pull more even in the RPM. So far so good i'll trust MObil 1 till my next oil change but always be aware of what those dealership are doing seems like a big ripp off to me !!!
Easiest to find is Mobil 1 0W-40, Porsche's recommended fill.
I use mobil 1 0w40 and it makes a big difference
I personnally use Elf and love it, best oil I ever used so far.
