Use better oil and change every 5k My Audi S6 would go through a quart every 5k That's when I change the oil -- Mobile 1 --extended 15k oil - Ive put 90k miles on it in the past 10 years it still runs strong!
Always used 0w40 Mobil1 every 5k miles and it’s perfect
I use mobile 1 0w40. I've thought about switching to liquid moly but everytime I see a comparison between the two mobile 1 outperforms.
I’ve always used mobil1 on my cars.

M44 1.9, Mobil 1 Super 10W40, though I have to admit I use Castrol Edge in everything usually.
I really like Mobil 1 0w40 European car formula, and for the filter, only OEM from the dealer.
I once used the 20k mile oil, but changed it at 12k; my engine seemed to run nore smoothly, after that. I swore off longer oil change intervals and went back to regular Mobil 1.
I've used 15w50 Mobil 1 with no problems. It wasn't bad. It acctually good. But, it didn't make one bit difference, so I've used it only once, and went back to the regular 0w40 Mobil 1.
