Engine oil Mobil or VALVOLINE
I personally lean towards affordability, so I run Mobil 1 0w-40 because the local parts stores run sales for $35-40 pretty regularly.
Valvoline full synthetic with max life was the best oil I tested based on blackstone results.
I had a tiny bit blue smoke and thought it was sticky rings.
Ran mobil1 5/30 and it's gone.
I'll use my Valvoline happily.
Personally I've mostly been using Mobil 1 15w50, as it's almost never run in the winter.
Mobile one full synthetic hands-down. I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Toyota Tacoma I’ve owned both since brand new and now both have over 260,000 miles apiece . I have only used Mobil one full synthetic changed every 5000 miles. just took a bore scope to look into both engines a few months ago. They look like they’re brand new. Almost no varnish. Absolutely no sledge, never had any problems whatsoever with these vehicles. It’s insane.
my vehicles use only Mobil 1 oil.
I have used Motul and Castrol before and I found the Mobil oil to perform and keep the engine cooler and smoother on my triumph.
Mobil-1 5w30 ESP (what most ppl use since it’s cheap but I’ve heard it isn’t the best, was recommended these others by a guy who’s been dealing with/tuning German diesels forever)
I'm running Amsoil 5w40 or Castrol Syntec 5w40. I ran Mobil1 10W30 a few times and I heard too much valve noise. When I opened the oil cap after driving around on the freeway it was smoking..which I'm not all that happy about. So I stopped using this oil.
