Engine oil MOTUL or Lucas
I run motul 7100 in all my bikes it’s good stuff
My engine builder recommended what was 300v Power 5w40 at the time and is now 300v Competition 5w40 due to it holding up the best to fuel dilution from ethanol.
Motul is the gold standard - the IMSA cars you see with Motul badges really do exclusively use Motul. The shop I work with uses it in classic racing cars that are worth tens of millions.
I used to use Motul 5w30 in my track prepped FRS just as an added layer of protection, even if it is placebo.
Bought my JDM STI bug eye and with fresh 5w30 Motul 6800. Car runs well.
I feel it makes the car run more smooth when compared to the oil changes I did before that were not motul.
Then when I actually tried it, noticing the engine running quieter and the shifts being a little crisper made me keep it.
Your ester based oils like Redline and Motul 300v will provide the best protection from the oil shearing on the track.
4100 turbo light? It isn't JASO MA specified for motorcycles and wet clutches. No damage from oil. Probably just rough gear changing and maybe rough on the clutch plates but you should be fine.
I was using Mobil1 ESP 5w30 in my 530i XDrive.
I tried Motul but the oil consumption was bigger with the Motul.
