Engine oil MOTUL or OEM BMW
I just hit 250,000 miles on my daily driven '95 M3. I've been using Motul 8100 X-CESS 5w-40 for the past 3 years or so. Prior to that, I was using Castrol Edge Euro 5w-30, which was the BMW factory fill. The Motul often comes out still golden. The Castrol always came out black. Didn't need to do an oil analysis to know which one had fewer metal particles.
Very impressed with Motul tho I had Motul but I got tired spending $70 for 4k mile oil changes.
I used to run 8100 Xclean EFE 5w30 for the last 5 years in my 2019 FA20Dit.
I use motul in my heavily modified car though because it’s just that good.
Motul lang gamit ko since 2019, pero now ittry ko ung Pertua. Update kita sa performance.
I run motul 7100 in all my bikes it’s good stuff
My engine builder recommended what was 300v Power 5w40 at the time and is now 300v Competition 5w40 due to it holding up the best to fuel dilution from ethanol.
Motul is the gold standard - the IMSA cars you see with Motul badges really do exclusively use Motul. The shop I work with uses it in classic racing cars that are worth tens of millions.
I use Motul 8100 5w-30. But I've heard the Ravenol is good, I think it's what one of the 86 racing series runs.
I also tried Ravenol's MT fluid, and I'm thinking I'm going back to it after the RedLine.
I won't recommend Motul for Gixxer 250
10w-50 7100 makes the engine run a little hot and refinement goes for a toss (Personal Experience) even Gixxer riders group agreed on this one and it is not even as good as Ecstar oil used in the showroom.
