Engine oil OEM Mazda or OEM Volkswagen
No, but I did keep 2 quarts of oil and a gallon jug of water. My Mazda Protege was notorious for burning oil and overheating
I prefer synthetic myself in my CX50 Turbo, but Mazda engines aren't very picky overall.
Had a 2.0 Diesel Tiguan, same model as you. No oil consimption at all over 80.000 km.
Change the oil at a minimum, and do it regularly. Use a quality synthetic high mileage oil and change it again in a couple thousand miles, then change on regular 5k mile intervals.
I have run 0w20 in my 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv for 244,000 miles. It doesn't burn or leak any oil between changes. I change the oil and filters every 5-6,000 miles.
If you are using VW original oil then stick to it and the service interval. 15 years 229,000km later mine is going strong. I did mess up by doing service at 15k km all these years. Sticking to 12k is best. Instead try iftex system D. Makes a very noticeable difference. More important I feel is changing the air filter more often. And compulsorily changing diesel filter every year.
zu viel Kurzstrecke. mach mal nen Ölwechsel und lass den wagen dann mal richtig auf Temperatur kommen.
as long as it meets the VW 508 00/509 00 specification, it'll be fine which I think is 0w-20 and I \\*think\\* 5w-20
don't go beyond that, while it \\*may\\* not fuck the engine up, those 1.4Ts are REALLY picky (I had one in my Jetta Hybrid and anything past 5w-20 and she was angry )
they only say you can do that with their Mazda-branded oil. That stuff tends to be expensive.
Ho una Golf 7 1.4 TSI 122CV del 2014 quindi con motore EA211. Ha all'attivo 157000km, da quando ho fatto 140000 km devo rabboccare 1l di olio ogni 2700km.
