Engine oil PENNZOIL or Mannol
Oi analysis came back and no extra signs of wear... Mannol is great oil just change at 5k and add in oil additive such as ceratec every other change
I used pennzoil platinum euro blend in my 2014 Veloster turbo for probably 50k+ Atleast with no trouble.
I switched to the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, which is made from natural gas and it's probably the best full synthetic oil available now, IMHO
I've used for the last 20k miles and no problems! Just change at 5k.
I run 5w30 in my 17 tundra, 16 Corolla and soon my 23 4Runner. My Tundra was noticeably quieter after the switch. The Corolla was quieter, but the change was not as dramatic as the 5.7 V8 in the tundra.
I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum because it is GF-6A and API SP full synthetic motor oil which are the latest and greatest standards.
I use PENNZOIL PLATINUM but brand is up to you !
Pennzoil ultra premium is the best overall considering price, pennzoil euro is even better if they make it in your w-viscosity rating.
amsoil is the best period but is also expensive. recommended for commercial driving where you run your car to the limit racking up hundreds of miles per drive.
A lot of old guys recommend mobil 1. Mobil 1 loses to even walmart supertech, amazon basics oil, valvoline, etc. in the wear metal tests so that's my reason for avoiding that one
I’m running Penzoil ultra platinum 5W-30. The instructor I drove with said he runs 5W-30 in his gen 1 BRZ track rentals.
I would run Castrol over Pennzoil. Coming from personal experience, Pennzoil is junk.
