I run pennzoil 5w30 ultra platinum. ... PUP is great for direct injected turbo. Anthony (Dmann) told me that PUP 5w30 is the way to go in western PA
I've been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum since the first change in my 2016. Prior to that, I used it exclusively in my RX-8 that made it to 154k on the original engine.
Original owner ran Pennzoil ultra platinum and that I got 289,000 miles on that engine and turbo before I had a shop rebuilt it.
Been running PU since with no problems.

I use Pennzoil platinum euro because its dirt cheap from walmart and meets all specs. 135,xxx kms so far on the same oil.
Best bang for your buck is the ultra premium penzoil 0w 20. Meets the api certification and in terms of performance it essentially provides the same level of performance as the amsoil.
I run Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30. My FK8 is making over 500hp no issues
From my knowledge it doesn't matter what brand you put in. Just make sure its quality oil that's rated for your car and do oil changes regularly. I have used Mazda branded Moly 0W-20, Mobil1 Extended Performance 0W-20 and currently Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20. Honestly I can't tell the difference between them at all.
Also when using thinner oils you should probably use a higher quality oil like penzoil or valvoline since they tend to have extra anti wear additives as oppose to garbage like mobile oil
