Engine oil Shell or OEM Mazda
I run rotella T6 5w-40. Have for 120k miles and will for the next 120k
I've been running cheap Rotella T6 for 20 years with modified STIs, zero issues.
Change the oil at a minimum, and do it regularly. Use a quality synthetic high mileage oil and change it again in a couple thousand miles, then change on regular 5k mile intervals.
I use Rotella T4 on my 2.5L and have been for years because high ZDDP helps with the valve tapping I have going on. It has actually gotten quieter over time and feel the engine is running smoother than ever.
I’m using the 0w16 from Renault that probably is a Shell RN17, I have about 25.000km now and I will do the third change on the beginning of next year… but in the sandero that I also own I changed to 5w30 (from 0w20) both RN17 and the engine feels way softer and silent…
gamit ko yung city scooter sa adv ko. laki ng nabawas sa vibration nakaka 2500km palang ako with this.
Shell, better oil and last longer. I use petronas cepat habiss woo minyak walhal jalan sama je balik kerja.
I have run 0w20 in my 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv for 244,000 miles. It doesn't burn or leak any oil between changes. I change the oil and filters every 5-6,000 miles.
Ive used T6 with good results. The major drawback with T6 is foaming, it's less than great in that regards.
A mi shell no me resulto buena.
