Oil changed every 10000 km with Shell 0W30 oil.
Never add a single drop of oil. No consumption at all to report.
I always run 5w30 Pennzoil Platinum in mine. I have run other brands, but I have settled on this. Easy to get, often on sale, excellent oil.
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in my 2016 Focus ST. It seems to love it. Quieter idle, great gas mileage, drives smoother after a cold start.
depende sa oil IMO, pag mahal na oil ranging 500+ yun pwde yun isagad 6k, pero kung mumurahin, expect mo sobrang itim at dumidikit sa gilid yung oil at nagbabawas
Grab a good quality 0/w20 synthetic. I'm currently using Pennzoil and a Fram filter.
I run Pennzoil ultra platinum oil and GM syncromesh trans fluid
Ultra premium is the best oil after amsoil, but amsoil is too expensive for this car, pennzoil is the best and cheap

But last oil change I just used the 20w50 I had on the shelf for the VW, since it's in pieces anyways. Despite the heavier oil, the lifter tick is louder with 20w50 that it was with 15w40 Diesel oil.
I would run Castrol over Pennzoil. Coming from personal experience, Pennzoil is junk.
