Engine oil VALVOLINE or MOTUL
Motul 7100 10 w50 good after using 4000 km
Run valveoline restore and protect for 3000 miles. Add engine oil flush before eat oil change according to their instructions repeat 4 times or more. After that continue to run valvoline restore and protect until the engine dies
Edit: dies from old age at 500k miles
Motul 7100 4T 10W-50 i use this and it's pretty good
Same motor (same car) and I use 5w30 Motul 8100 X-Clean EFE
Motul 8100 Power 5w40 oil. My shop recommends it, I'm based in NC, Autocross in the summer sucks, but my oil temps drop back around 214 degrees F when I come off the track.
8,000 fall through spring, 6,000 for summer, running full Valvoline full synthetic.
Don't know how many miles is on this car but these are notorious oil burners. It's a long shot buy you might try running Valvoline Restore & Protect oil.
Motul full syntetic 10w40, oem oil filter.
I'm trying out Valvoline Restore & Protect right now. I only ran oem Idemitsu before but started to have oil consumption issues with that oil the last two winters so I decided to switch.
This sub loves to praise motul, but it caused me to foul up my spark plugs and have misfires. I tried both the 5W30 like the manual calls for and 5W40, but shortly after I changed to motul my plugs fouled up. I replaced them, they fouled up and misfired again. I tried it a third time cleaning the MAF sensor, checking if the plugs were torqued okay, checking the seal on the coil packs, etc... still fouled up. I finally guessed it was the motul and did an oil change away from motul and swapped the plugs again. 14k later no fouling.
