Engine oil VALVOLINE or RAVENOL
I , personally, like Valvoline products. I've opened up engines just to see sludge built up from not changing your oil or using cheap oil and not changing it enough. I have found that engines that used Valvoline oil were much cleaner on the inside. After many miles. Compared to other brands.
I use Valvoline 10w-30 synthetic blend high mileage over full synthetic because it completely gets rid of the VVEL tick and adds more protection since it’s thicker and last longer since I love to redline ???? + k&n filter 1008 or 1010
I usually run 5-40 euro blend by valvoline from Walmart. $27 for 5 quart jug and you cannot beat that price. Walmart has the best oil prices of any auto part store.
Full synthetic all the way, worth the extra cost. I’m trying out the new vavoline oil rn
Just to share my experience on this oil, I am into my 2nd run on restore and protect (change oil at every 5000 miles interval), running 5w20, a 2010 pickup with 204800 miles. At about 3000 miles, the color of the lifters, spring and the walls became light chocolate brown, very noticeable, then I have noticed this oil is actually doing something.
No issues at 150k on my 6. I do not worry but do run pea type injector cleaner every 3-5k and use quality oil that helps prevent off gas issues like Mobil 1 and Valvoline
I use Valvoline Restore & Protect, which claims to clean your engine and reduce friction/wear more than any other oil
I use Valvoline Extended Protection Full Synthetic 5W-30.
Very good on engines and your turbo especially (i have a 2014 st3)
I have a 2011 Escape Hybrid 2.5L with about 175,000 kms. I run Valvoline Advanced 0W-20 full synthetic as recommended by my mechanic. I've found it much better on fuel economy in colder weather than the 5W-20 for multi-seasonal use, especially in colder weather regions (I live in BC, Canada).
Valvoline Restore & Protect. Its no joke.
