Fuel pump Bosch or WALBRO
Too many fuel pumps die because of people upgrading the pump with has more amperage but they don't upgrade the fuel pump wires to handle that extra heat. Your setup still seems pretty mild so maybe you don't need to replace your wires but can just run a Bosch 044 like everyone else (including me) has tested tried and true with 660cc Siemens injectors.
I have a used 200lph walboro. It’s got maybe 15-20k miles on it. Was 100% functional without issue when I pulled it.
It was a Bosch OEM pump in a Bosch box so I think it should be okay.
Spend for the Denso. Denso is the OEM for
Motorcraft. Bosch are good too.
I had the fuel pump go on me and replaced it with a Bosch original OEM that has the threaded Check Valve screwed into the top of it. Upon replacing these 2 parts the engine would run great and start fine cold.
I\u2019ve run a digi 2 intank with a Bosch 044 high pressure inline without any problems
Its been a while and I have replaced the tank with a Mk3 tank and intank pump, got to throw out the warning again this does make a fair bit of noise so be prepared.
Glad it worked for you. I thought for sure mine was fixed when I replaced my fuel pump, even spent the extra for a Bosch, but the problem came back a few months later.
I tried a Carter, and a Delphi. Both failed (after I topped off the tank) and I had to tow it home, drop a full tank, and do it over. The Bosch hasnt let me down these past 7 years.
Last fuel pump was not in suppression sleeve, was loud and when I noticed the issue I had not yet replaced the pump with a new bosch yet. I did notice the pump shut off.
